We will have a conversation about the origins of mezcal, its processes and classifications. We will have a guided tasting of three artisan mezcal from different producers. We will accompany the tasting with a two-course dinner by a local restaurant.

MEZCAL ROUTE

Oaxaca - Miahuatlán 
Live closely the entire process of this ancient drink, Mexican distillate with a long tradition. We will begin the route in Oaxaca City with different activities, on the second day we will visit San Bartolo and Miahuatlán and we will visit the producer's palenque to learn about the production process of mezcal.

COFFEE ROUTE

Mexico City - Sierra Norte de Puebla

This route will start with a tasting and explanation of specialty coffee and breakfast in specialty coffeeshop. We will visit a proffesional coffee roaster and will travel to the "Sierra de Huauchinango, Puebla". We will have a tour on the coffee plantations and the coffe mill. We will visit to the town of Xochimilco and stay in a sustainable tourism cabin.

THE HONEY ROUTE

 Coyoacán - Xochimilco

We will know the complete process of production of bee honey, we will start with a brunch and a tasting of honeys from different origins.

We will know the true Xochimilco from the hand of producers and we will visit a productive apiary to learn about the work of the beekeeper and the bees to produce honey and other derived products.

This route will take us to know the traditions and origins of one of the most beautiful Mexican festivals, Day of the Dead.

We will walk the streets of magical towns, we will work with handicraft producers and we will live the party of the dead in the pantheons at night.

TASTING OF MEZCALES AND OAXACA´S DINNER

Coyoacán - Ciudad de México

We will do a short Walking - tour of the central parks of Coyoacán with a bit of history and cultural context. We will go to a restaurant specialized in Oaxacan food where we will have a talk with about the origins of mezcal, tradition and current context of the drink, production processes, classification, advice and tasting guide.


We will have 3 courses with traditional Mezcales from different states and production processes In addition to an à la carte dinner.

We will have a conversation about the origin of cacao and the production processes of chocolate and other products. We will be able to taste drinks, chocolates, cacao and other products, going through the history of this Mexican food.
